As a Global Inventory Operations Lead, part of our Demand and Supply Management (DSM) organization, you will have an exceptional opportunity to leverage your analytical mindset, effective communication skills and project management expertise to drive Global inventory planning, optimization and strategy in partnership with our Global, Geo and cross-functional partners. You will identify and effectively collaborate with various stakeholders across S&IP, DSM, Nike Tech, Marketplace Analytics and broader Nike Supply Chain. You will:

Oversee design and development of new performance management frameworks, information platforms, scorecards, dashboards and related tools for Global Inventory.

Be a resident data and tools expert. Conduct high quality analysis, calculate relevant metrics, respond to data requests and troubleshoot opportunities with existing tools.

Create proofs of concept for new tools in partnership with Marketplace Analytics and Nike Tech Teams.

Develop and deliver high-impact presentations to communicate strategic plans, roadmaps and initiative status updates to the broader organization.

Manage a wide range of quantitative and qualitative inputs, simplify your message and influence various stakeholders.

Core Accountabilities

Effectively manage projects to completion. Identify and proactively manage stakeholders that have influence and/or are impacted by your projects. Communicate proactively and strategically.

Create and automate data collection/manipulation processes. Data mine using state-of-the-art methods. Process, cleanse, merge, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis. Create automated, analytical tools and visual dashboards.

Solve problems and create solutions. Respond to requests from internal/external customers. Investigate these requests and partner on solutions enabling healthy inventory levels. Support the business using statistical methods for process and performance assessment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field. MBA preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience working in a Supply Chain Management field.

  • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis.

  • Strong project management, problem structuring, and strategic problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Strong presentation influencing skills and the ability to interact with senior leadership.

  • Self-starter, eager to learn, result-oriented and creative strategic thinker

  • Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL and working with relational data bases

  • Intermediate skills with data visualization tools such as Tableau and data blending tools such as Alteryx

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint. Experience in SAP is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of applied statistics methods, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
