Description

As a member of the HR Services and Operations Team, the HR Direct Supervisor(s), Americas, provides direct leadership to a team of HR Advisors (6-10 team members) that support employees in the United States, Mexico, Latin America and Canada. There are typically 1-2 peers in a supervisory role who work together to support at team of 15-18 FTE and ETW Advisors.

You will lead a team of HR Advisors that that field 2500 contacts per week from Nike Inc. Employees. Our mission, We Serve Employees drives your work, your approach and your leadership style. You spot opportunities to improve service, you motivate your team through positive and empowering feedback and you constantly move the needle on what great service looks like for Nike Inc. Employees.

Partnering with the leadership team on an ongoing basis to identify and address opportunities regarding coverage, processes, partnerships, and team performance. Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of Advisors, setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion to meet daily objectives. Other duties include handling complex calls, researching, and partnering with the escalation team (Tier 2) as needed to resolve issues demonstrating the appropriate urgency and employee experience. Remain up to date and current on all policies, procedures, processes, and launches to serve as a resource to the Advisors to ensure that employee questions can be answered accurately and in a timely manner.

You are accountable for working with employees at all levels on HR programs, practices, and policies to drive amazing employee experiences. Ideally you have experience supporting a global team and are comfortable and capable of working with employees with diverse experiences and backgrounds.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field. Two additional years of experience in lieu of a degree

  • 2 years in a high volume or shared services processing environment

  • 2 + years of people management responsibilities

  • Superior customer service skills- our employees are our customers

  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Takes initiative to solve complex problems and manage conflicts

  • Ability to find clarity in ambiguous situations

  • Team management skills

  • Ability to coach team members and provide constructive feedback

  • Hands-on HR transactional experience, a plus

  • 2 Positions are available- One requires Spanish Language capabilities- fluency both written and oral
