Nike Merchandising Director, Men's Classic Footwear in Beaverton, Oregon
Applicant must have a Master’s degree in Business Merchandising or Marketing and two (2) years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Business Merchandising or Marketing and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience. Experience must include the following:
Product line planning including qualitative Global market and consumer research travel around the world, conducting focus groups in addition to quantitative insights analysis through point of sales data reading.
Large Scale Product Portfolio Management.
Defining and creating long-term product assortment strategy with defined KPIs to ensure progress tracking.
Lead a team and the process to meet annual/seasonal deadlines and accomplish specific business goals across an International matrix organization.
Long range forecasting, seasonal line plan creation, Brand enhancement planning, annual product flow and launch plans.
Prepare and present executive level presentations for internal and external audiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and teammates to set seasonal targets and achieve business goals.
Proficiency with Keynote and Apple tools.

Secure a cross-gender meaningful and holistic footwear line plan through the proper footwear franchise management from product inception to the go-to-market/execution in close collaboration with product/design, brand, marketplace, finance, operations, and demand planning. Lead and integrate the ‘Global Men's Footwear Lifestyle Classics' seasonal line plan (Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter). Brief, plan and assort seasonal footwear collections across categories to drive premium and compelling stories and consumer experiences for Nike retail and wholesale customers. Understand current consumer and market dynamics (globally and by geography/key city) while envisioning and driving an industry-leader-mindset to inform the Men's Footwear Lifestyle product offering, leading cross-functional teams, and developing and implementing protocols and tools that enhance the decision making process in a seasonal/3 month cadence. Lead cross functional teams to ensure each product proposition within the footwear lifestyle franchise portfolio aligns with the product portfolio, targeted audiences, consumer segments, and strategic priorities. Interconnect product life cycles between genders, business units, and categories. Revise, influence, and enable the four geographies (North America, Europe, Greater China, and Asia-Pacific, and Latin America) seasonal plans and strategies ranging from Men's Footwear Lifestyle merchandising point of views to drive meaningful and compelling stories and action plans that help pursue the brand and business objectives. Responsible to ensure the Men's Footwear Lifestyle teams are aligned across the global merchandising strategy. Lead, coach, inspire and help develop the Men's Footwear Lifestyle team with a diverse and progressive mindset aligned to the Nike corporate principles and values.
