Nike North America Marketplace Operations Stores Director in Beaverton, Oregon

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training

  • At least 10 years of proven experience in Supply Chain areas of logistics, transportation or related fields.

  • Experience operating or directly responsible for a vertical retail fashion business

  • Project management/Consulting experience preferred

  • Excellent understanding of supply chain management operations and systems

  • Strong business partner management skills

  • Leading with curiosity and ability to think creatively to solve complex problems

  • Proven track record to quickly assess situations, identify problems and offer clean and concise plans for resolution

  • Capability to work well under pressure and adapt to change and competing priorities quickly

  • Experience establishing a metrics-driven organization that has delivered a supply chain that meets both the customers’ needs from product, service, and innovation perspectives, as well as the company’s business, financial, and strategic goals

  • Great strategic vision and business savvy balanced with strong operational integrated supply chain experience that can create and implement a strategic vision to ensure operational excellence in the marketplace

  • Proven experience in applying continuous improvement including a Lean/Agile operating business system is fundamental

  • Team development and team management – a commitment to developing teamwork and team capabilities, and a fervent belief in the importance of talent as a competitive advantage.

We’re looking for a Marketplace Operations Stores Execution Director. Join our team!

In this role, you will:

  • Build a culture and supply chain that is laser-focused on driving solutions and delivering results, continuing to be transformative and agile enough to meet the company’s aggressive growth plans

  • Bring a business, strategic, and emotional maturity to Nike to drive a better all-around consumer experience and deliver financial, and operational results needed to support an efficient and reliable Supply Chain

  • Drive continuous improvement tools and methodologies in order to help the business deliver results across new store concepts, current fleet, consumer fulfillment, quality, cost, and inventory management.

  • Implement end-to-end Supply Chain capabilities with a team dedicated to serving our fleet of Stores with precision, reliability and flexibility.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Identify and drive an ecosystem of continuous improvement in performance including consumer insights, marketplace nuances and foundational elements required to serve a vertical retail marketplace.

  • Translate Supply Chain strategy into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables for one of the biggest Supply Chains in North America

  • Lead and pilot new initiatives and ways of working to support order flow through the enterprise in our DTC marketplace

  • Brand moment planning and post-mortem review to build a world class Supply Chain

  • Pre-season inventory placement to flow goods throughout our Distribution Center landscape for fulfillment into the fleet.

  • Lead the deployment of reliable consumer promise transformation through the value stream.

  • Collaborate closely for order resolution and trending issues in Order Management that could lead to headwinds in the reliability of the Supply Chain

  • Provide visibility and transparency to key partners across the business on receiving and shipping service levels inclusive of Supply Chain, Transportation Network and Retail Footprint Back of House distinct capacities.

  • Implement a playbook of standard processes and improvement across the team to serve as the platform for scaling our Retail Offense with a suite of World Class tools

  • Build and lead a world class supply chain team that is dedicated to serving athletes and our consumer across the marketplace

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report to the Senior Director of Stores for North America. You will partner with team members within Nike, Converse and across geographies. You will collaborate with eCommerce, Supply Chain, Retail Experience/Insights, Capabilities, Transportation and Demand Supply Management teams as well as other business functions and teams.
