WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Design (Architecture, Industrial) or a related field Business, Operations, Project Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Retail industry experience preferred; retail environments and programs (store design, construction/installations, fixtures & furniture, consumer services)

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a combination of operations, project management, and production, including 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Experience working in a large, global environment, on complex, high visibility projects with large budgets and brand and/or commercial impact.

  • Experience building relationships, interacting with all levels of leadership

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • We need a manager and strong ability to problem solve through project challenges

This team actualizes the voice the of the brand at retail by obsessing the details and evolving the physical elements across all customer touch points from macro architecture to the always on brand stories within the store.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike seeks a Program Manager who will manage and track designated workstreams within the Brand Creative Retail Studio Center of Excellence (COE). They are a key operational partner Story Design while closely collaborating with Store Design, Real Estate & Construction, and NDSS Concepts, coordinating the health and status of creative workstreams from brief through final delivery.

The candidate needs to have a background in design project management, fixture production / management, and/or design studio management, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience navigating a highly matrixed organization, and leading / managing large retail rollout programs.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be working with various multi-disciplinary teams both internal and external with oversight of large scope, multi-faceted, cross functional projects and bodies of work including design schedule management (from project start-up to design development to construction/fabrication and installation), budget management, project communications, workflow and resource management.

A typical day/week consists of owning and driving program coordination using standard processes and tools for leading design documentation, construction documents, budgets, project schedules, and vendor delivery/install coordination.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In conjunction with the Studio Director, you will lead Project Managers overseeing the development and delivery of Nike’s newest retail concepts across the world. In this role, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across Nike as well as external design agencies, architectural firms, fixture and experience vendors, and general contractors. Your team consists of both remote and local teams; you may travel 5-10% of the time.
