Nike Quality Engineer in Beaverton, Oregon

Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Biochemical Engineering and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must include:

  • Programming languages, such as Python and DOT NET;

  • IBM Sterling OMS;

  • AWS Domains, such as EC2, S3, or SQS;

  • SAP Domains, including SAP S4 HANA, SAP CAR, SAP-Retail, or SAP AFS;

  • Functional automation tools, such as, JMETER, UFT, CBTA, or Selenium;

  • Integrations, such as REST API, webservices, HP service test, or EDI;

  • Test and Defect management tools, including JIRA, ALM, or VersionOne;

  • Version controlling tools, such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, or GitHub;

  • Databases, such as SQL Developer, SQL server, or MySQL; and

  • Markup languages, including JSONs, XML, or XSD.

Nike USA Inc., Beaverton, OR. Engage product, program, engineering and design teams to design test strategies to influence unit and integration testing conducted by engineering teams. Compose test plans for automated, manual, and performance tests executed by quality teams for targeted mobile experiences. Develop, modify, apply, and maintain standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures. Conduct software inspection, testing, verification, and validation which results in the reduction of defects released into production, improves app store ratings, and enhances consumer experience. Develop overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process, and contract requirements and objectives. Ensure that project and process control documentation are aligned with requirements, objectives, and contract. Train and motivate teams of peers, engineers, or others to execute on the test plans against process requirements. Perform or direct verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability. Participate in bug scrubs and prioritization sessions to develop performance measure and reports for sharing with multi-functional teams and Nike leadership.
