What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or combination of relevant education, experience and training.

  • Extensive work experience focused on system management and analysis.

  • Minimum 5 years of related professional experience required.

  • Self-motivated, with a high sense of accountability, vitality, and drive.

  • Proven track record to perform detailed system analysis and present relevant results.

  • Proven track record to understand business processes and requirements and develop or facilitate the development of solution options.

  • Strong technical skills..

  • In-depth understanding of the Agile principles and methodologies and how they’re applied in workplace culture

  • Work directly with customers and team members to gather details of business to feature requirements, understand use cases and define test needs.

  • Ability to solve complex problems and take a new point of view on existing solutions.

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and non-technical problems.

  • Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.

  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Deep experience with tools such as Aha! JIRA, Confluence and Planisware.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager - APLA Global Technology. The ideal candidate for this position will be seasoned in program management with strong leadership skills, communication skills, and digital and enterprise technologies expertise. You will have substantial, demonstrated experience in an agile and program model structure and direct experience managing programs that require a strong transition management program. This role requires a candidate who excels at forming relationships across functions to align strategies and drive execution. This person will be a strategic problem solver with an ability to prioritize multiple and challenging priorities while driving a plan to execution. This individual will play equal parts problem solver and doer, taking on the roles of program operator, influencer, and delivery specialist, playing in an inclusive environment that inspires a diversity of perspectives and bold ideas.

What will you work on:

You will be asked to lead Technology initiatives for CaSA territory including the migration of local platforms to global, implementation of Digital capabilities, and support the technical cutover of the Distributor model across CaSA countries, and in doing so be comfortable consistently assessing tradeoffs and lead delivery across multiple workstreams. You will partner closely with our Nike business teams as well as product and technology teams at global, in the geo, and in our territories. You will also work closely with the technology organizations of our distributor partners in Central and South America.

Who will you work with:

You will partner with peers as well as senior and executive level internal partners to cultivate collaboration, alignment and integrated planning and execution across all functions. You will have close partnership with the Portfolio, Product, Engineering and Technology Operations functions of Global Technology, in addition to the leaders of Global Technology teams and our business leaders. You will work closely to coordinate with other Technology and APLA business teams on dependencies across the portfolio.

Key program competencies:

  • Functional knowledge: deep understanding and knowledge of portfolio, program, and project management.

  • E2E program management and tracking: expertise on leading cross-functional E2E program delivery. Substantial experience in an agile and program model structure. Ability to establish and continuously lead project planning process and tracking systems to analyze developments /accomplishments, and challenges.

  • Dependency management: ability to assess, understand and lead program dependencies including coordinating teams and resources needed to implement.

  • Cross-functional expertise: able to lead cross-functional key program areas, working collaboratively with and influence senior management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leads the portfolio of technology analysis efforts.

  • Provides system analysis, project management and consultancy on technology efforts.

  • Drive new products and features through the development process. Gather and create product requirements and specifications.

  • Make sure project meets deadlines and is completed within budget. Review and test code to ensure it works properly.

  • Focuses on the continuous improvement of systems and applications through the design and implementation phases.

  • Stays abreast, reviews when appropriate, and brings awareness to release/change activity in systems that impact technology services and platforms.

  • Provides expertise and understanding of Nike business and how they use technology systems.

  • Analyzes costs and benefits of new systems or system integrations.
