  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience and training.

  • Demonstrated progressive experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Sourcing or Manufacturing; experience in Footwear, Apparel or Equipment a plus.

  • Experience in managing external supplier relationships and driving alignment with internal partners.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences.

  • Results driven, consumer-centric approach with strong planning foresight.

  • Experience in database architecture, data management, descriptive statistics, and forecasting.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, or Alteryx a plus.

  • Proven track record of risk assessment, mitigation, and critical to quality management.

Section 1: who are we looking for

We are looking for a Supply Planning Manager for our NIKE BY YOU Operations team. This person will help provide a premium experience to digital-direct NIKE BY YOU consumers through effective end-to-end management of our global footwear supply planning processes. They will lead planning and execution of supply and production plans through collaboration with factories, vendors, logistics carriers, & consumer creation teams. They will also be responsible for evolving processes, systems, and tools to respond to changes in the supply chain. This candidate needs to have strong analytical and planning foresight along with manufacturing experience. This be an ideal place for a self-starter individual who shows strong bias for action, creative problem solving, and can simplify the complex.

Section 2: what will you work on

Supply & Capacity Planning:

Act as primary liaison between Asia factories & WHQ to ensure demand and supply optimization. Effectively apply inputs from demand planning, materials planning, and delivery carrier networks to foster on-time delivery in the digital direct marketplace. Directly support factories and manufacturing management teams to identify changes & priorities within the plans, and drive decisions with all partners.

Materials Management:

Establish material buying strategies & tracking tools that align with our product strategy. Forecast & implement inventory strategies: define initial material buy positions, check and validate plans via scenario planning, closely track demand and initiate replenishment when required.

Manufacturing Readiness:

Partner closely with cross functional NIKE BY YOU teams (Operations, Consumer Creation, Demand Planning, and Logistics) to optimize product readiness and manufacturing plans. Ensure demand, capacity, equipment & materials align to support NIKE BY YOU long-term and seasonal business. Ensure factory & product issues can be resolved in a timely & successful fashion.
