The annual base salary for this position ranges from $166,100.00 in our lowest geographic market to $392,700.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Director, Direct Analytics Global to join the Converse team. As a key player on the Converse Direct-to-Consumer team, you will lead the team that powers our direct-to-consumer business with data, tools and insights to drive the next phase of growth and our evolution as a consumer-centric, data-driven organization. You will work with global and geography partners to enable and use data to elevate our consumer experiences, optimize our CRM & marketing strategies, and inform our product merchandising decisions.

You will oversee a team structuring and conducting strategic analytics to drive business insights and in collaboration with our martech team, building and managing data products and tools. As such, you will manage three core functions within this team:

  • Consumer and Marketing Analytics

  • Web Analytics

  • Business Intelligence.

What You Will Work On

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead a team; drive resource planning, prioritization and professional development

  • Own relationships with diverse business partners to understand current and future customer and business needs to set strategy and roadmap

  • Define and oversee business processes for intake, prioritization, and delivery of analytics tools, dashboards and strategic analytics

  • Drive development and business enablement of data & analytics tools + products through data aggregation, data visualization, training & partner communication, and data quality management

  • Support strategic analytics initiatives to develop actionable insights that drive business impact

  • Partner with technology data engineering team to incorporate relevant requirements in enterprise data structures and reporting tools. Ensure consistency and reliability in data, metrics, analytics and interpretation of insights.

Who You Will Work With

You will report to the Director, Direct Commerce Global. You will work in tight collaboration with our data engineering team to build and maintain data products. You will partner with North America, Western Europe, and Greater China direct-to-consumer analytics teams as well as global Product Management, Experience, Merchandising and CRM teams on prioritization and business enablement of analytics tools, dashboards, and strategic analysis.

What you Bring

  • Bachelor's degree combination or relevant education, experience and training. Advanced quantitative degree a plus

  • 7+ years of data & analytics experience within ecommerce / retail environment

  • Prior experience leading and managing diverse teams across Web, Consumer, and Marketing Analytics and Business Intelligence

  • Experience with business intelligence/data visualization tools (Tableau), web analytics & tag management tools (Adobe), and marketing technology tools (CDP)

  • Fluency in SQL for database querying; fluency in R or in Python’s scientific computing packages for data analysis, visualization and modeling

  • Experience with advanced analytics techniques, such as marketing attribution, predictive modeling, statistical analysis, multivariate regression analysis and ROI measurement

  • Proven track record of building collaborative stakeholder relationships and developing and executing strategic business processes within a large organization
