WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are searching for a top candidate for Lead, Advanced Analytics, to join the Converse Global Product & Merchandising team. You will have the opportunity to use your skills to help us create and merchandise Footwear and Apparel products that our consumers will love. We are seeking passionate individuals who thrive on tackling challenging business problems, and is eager to make a significant impact with data driven insights. You have a solid foundation in technical skills and are comfortable collaborating with various teams to understand problems and effectively communicate results.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be helping answer questions such as:

  • What is the right mix of product that we should carry in an upcoming season?

  • How many products should we create to optimize sales?

  • How will our forecasted demand be impacted by making changes to pricing, marketing, or distribution?

The insights you help drive will inform everything from tactical decision-making to our multi-year strategies.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

While you will primarily collaborate with the Product Creation and Merchandising organization, this role also offers opportunities to engage with various teams within Converse. You will also collaborate with Product Creation & Merchandising Analytics colleagues at Nike, exchanging insights and strategies for addressing similar challenges.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics/Statistics, or combination or relevant education, experience.

  • 5 years of experience working in a for-profit business; ex. Retail consumer brand, or fashion lifestyle brand.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib/Seaborn, Plotly as well as BI solutions like Tableau, Sigma, PowerBI, Looker, etc. Ability to visualize data and insights clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Hands-on experience querying, accessing and working with data in multiple formats.

  • Experience building and implementing machine learning models to solve real-world business problems

  • Strong drive to address business challenges through simple, efficient, and automated solutions, regardless of using the latest models.

  • Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills.

  • You have an agile approach to developing and deploying solutions

  • You value collaboration and prioritize working effectively with others
