WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Brand Marketing Specialist to be part of our marketing team, based in Mexico City, covering several countries in the LATAM region. Someone that has a genuine connection to culture, style, and fashion with a relentless curiosity for the consumer, and a belief in our brand vision to create the future for Nike Lifestyle and Jordan Brand.

The understanding of the lifestyle scene, experience in bringing to life marketing tactics that are aligned to a high-level strategy, cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed team, and some experience and/or understanding of the LATAM main cities, especially Mexico City, are critical to this role.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

As a Brand Marketing Specialist in lifestyle, your consumer and market insights will inform the strategy and marketing plans, your ideas will help land the tactics, your understanding of the product and processes will keep the Lifestyle team running and with your talent you will keep the team on time by bringing to life the brand plan, supporting your manager.

Activities of the role to support the day to day demands of the Lifestyle plans and executions include support of the development of seasonal programming; support on delivering the integrated marketing plans and managing campaign progress measurement, including recapping and de-briefing; support in keeping healthy and strong relationships with Catalyst, influencers community and culture scene in Mexico City and LATAM. Support with product and purchase orders, arrivals, deliveries, and inventory. This role will be responsible for all physical events and executions that will connect the brand with the consumer on the streets.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

In this role you will report directly into the Marketing Director Men’s LATAM, working hand on hand with your counterparts in the Men´s team. You will begin as a contributor to fuel consumer demand and build our long-term connection with consumers, with deeper focus in Mexico City. You will partner with our LATAM Marketing team, the Asia Pacific & Latin America (APLA) geography and Global Brand Marketing teams across Nike to build more effective and efficient ways to encourage and connect with athletes*.

Your key internal partners are digital, retail, brand creative, sports marketing, integrated media, catalyst, and community impact teams. Your key external partners are event production agencies, consumer research agencies, catalyst management, and cultural communities.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a closely related field.

  • Minimum one year of experience in either brand building/marketing, consumer marketing or related experience in digital marketing.

  • Genuine connection to and deep understanding of Lifestyle, culture, and youth trends.

  • Ability to think big picture, work cross functionally, have a curiosity for consumer insights/behaviors, multi-task and adapt to a constant changing environment.

  • Business-level proficiency in English: both written and verbal, Keynote, Word and Excel skills.

  • Organization and follow-up skills are a must.
