Who we are looking for

As Nike grows, we need a new teammate to help support recruiting in Nike Direct (Retail Stores). Our work requires a self-starter, who takes action and is adept at influencing key partners and hiring leaders. Our Nike Direct organization is constantly growing and evolving, so we are in need of someone who is comfortable consistently adapting to change.

What you will work on

As a Nike Direct Recruiter, you work will focus on sourcing and hiring world class talent for Nike Direct Stores. You'll cultivate relationships to understand Nike’s continually evolving Retail organization and you'll frequently collaborate with Store Leaders in selecting a qualified and diverse pool of candidates. You’ll develop unique recruiting strategies and be a consultant to hiring managers and business leaders, along with focusing on proactive networking, diversity hiring, and finding innovative ways to engage passive candidates.

You will also own the process of developing and executing a staffing plan for each individual open position within your assigned area. This work also involves using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), reviewing resumes and utilizing digital screening methods for candidates. In addition, you'll manage requisition creation, posting and candidate tracking processes, and provide subject matter expertise on NIKE's recruitment processes.

Who you will work with

You will report to a Territory Recruiting Manager, and work with multiple peers on the Nike Direct Recruiting Team. You’ll connect with retail store leadership teams across several markets and cultivate relationships with a diverse group of cross-functional partners.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (HR), Business or a related field

  • 2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree

  • Tech savvy; proficiency with MS Office to create and edit reports, presentations, and collateral as needed (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook), expertise with mobile platforms, social and professional media, and internet browsers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail oriented and ability to creatively seek viable solutions to unique situations

  • Comfortable with establishing (passive candidate) relationships through event networking and/or referral cold calls

  • Community service/involvement experience; connected to the local community

  • High degree of independent decision making and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced level of organization, detail orientation, and experience juggling competing priorities

  • Expertise working cross-functionally across a variety of business partners at all levels of an organization

  • Experience working with multiple project and business deadlines; problem solving, strategic agility

  • Elevated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills including experience and comfort with public speaking and presentation skills; ability to communicate in English
