Nike Lead Business HR Manager, Retail - Latin America in Ciudad de México, Mexico

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As Lead Business HR Manager for Latin America (Mexico, Brazil & SoCo) based in our Mexico City office, you’ll provide coaching, solutions, and advocacy to business leaders and employees in Nike Direct (Retail) across our Latin America marketplace.

In partnership with the HR Director for Latin America and key matrix partners, you’ll seek to understand business priorities and pain points. Through your own observations and workforce data and trends, you’ll translate your insights into compelling HR consulting advice and services to make an impact. You'll serve as a key resource for employees through sensing, listening, providing guidance, and directing inquiries to the appropriate HR specialists.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide expert advice and coaching to leaders to drive workforce labor plans, talent management, and performance outcomes. As a culture ambassador, you’ll actively define and participate in DE&I initiatives that showcase Nike’s progressive culture of belonging to maintain strong engagement. As a change agent, you’ll role model the new HR operating model and systems and support the business through organizational design and restructuring as required. As an HR professional, you’ll work alongside Employee Relations to resolve employee queries and issues as appropriate.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

The role will partner with HR teammates in the Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) region and HR COE partners. On the business side, you’ll partner with the Latin America Nike Direct (Retail) leadership and their teams. The role reports to the HR Director for Latin America, based in Mexico City.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in an HR business partnering role or HR Generalist role, ideally in an MNC/international environment. Experience in other specialist areas like talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, mobility, diversity, and employee/labor relations is advantageous.

  • Proven mindset and interpersonal skills to work in a matrix environment to develop, implement, leverage, and monitor HR initiatives, systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Proven ability to calmly, confidently, and confidentially engage with management and Employee Relations to address opportunities and needs.

  • Experience with HR metrics and data to story-tell and provide decision support.

  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity

  • Results-driven and able to handle multiple tasks.

  • Fluency in the English and Spanish languages (written and spoken).
