The Product Security Specialist will be based in China, providing leadership, strategic direction, tactical support and innovative solutions to unique, spontaneous and critical product security issues and concerns.

This position will serve as key contact and advisor for all matters pertaining to product security in China and APAC. Protect Nike Innovation , Competitive Advantage and support Global Security programs in China. Ensure company, product and general security guidelines are designed and deployed to protect Nike Innovation and Competitive Advantage.

The Product Security Specialist will report directly to the Nike China Product Security Manager

  • Develop, design and document best practice, process & procedure standards to improve and ensure product security from design to delivery

  • Drive full product security accountability of high priority projects through internal & external partners

  • Design and promote internal and external product security awareness and understanding programs

  • Conduct product security assessments in high priority facilities, offices and throughout product creation process. Document findings and recommendations for review, implementation and follow up for compliance purposes

  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with appropriate external and internal partners and stakeholders to enhance product security and integrity

  • Track, report & investigate (when needed) transit and/or product loss

  • Research and recommend any new technologies that may help prevent theft, loss or leaks of Nike, Inc. products

  • Provide ad hoc support to any/all Global Security programs on a need basis

  • Coach and develop other members to ensure team success

Requirements for the position include:

  • Professional experience working with third-party partners preferably manufacturing partners and/or logistics providers

  • Proficiency in implementing compliance and/or related programs

  • Leadership skills and the ability to influence others.

  • Presentation skills and the ability to translate and present complex issues in an easily understood manner.

  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English and local language

  • Investigations and/or analysis experience
