Description

You will drive and lead the account planning team and vision, liaising with key stakeholders to develop and deliver insight and top-line plans for the account across multiple accounts, categories, genders, and product engines.

Lead team in building seasonal plans and ensuring integration into account, territory, and Geography business targets, working closely with the Account Director, the banner Strategic Account Directors and the EMEA Sales Planning Senior Director.

Additionally, you will drive innovation and change in planning, working across G6 accounts & territories to create the future of planning together.

  • Lead, develop, and inspire your team to make it a benchmark across strategic accounts & territories

  • Lead annual strategic planning process including strategic account plan and input into CSR, AOP and budget - working in collaboration with Finance and account leadership team

  • Drive alignment directly with the Customer to align on long-range targets and then in-season marketplace health and shipping targets

  • Drive functional account alignment throughout planning processes across Categories and Integrated Account Team, including Sales, Merchandising, Finance, Brand, and Marketplace Operations functions

  • Facilitate demand signal insight to inform integrated business planning at Category, Geography, and Demand Planning level. Leverage marketplace and account insight to influence early stages of Category Game Plan to maximize future season opportunities

  • Direct critical business and category planning deliverables pre-season, in-season and post-season including seasonal plans, monthly LRSF submissions, stock and sales plans, seasonal targeting, and driver-based plans. Coordinate and optimize in-season reporting, analysis and insight to drive action across the Integrated Account Team

  • Drive planning (innovation) agenda and best practices by aligning across strategic accounts and territories

  • Champion and maximize impact of Integrated Account Team and EMEA Sales Planning vision including but not limited to support for Account Planners as crucial business partners

  • Lead and coach Retail & Business Planners to help them influence broader x-functional team

  • Support other members of the account leadership team by driving action in their teams through planning as defined by x-functional account requirements

  • Manage trade terms and commercial aspects of relationships with accounts in collaboration with Senior Account Director, Sales/Commercial Director, Finance, and Legal

  • Perform business management responsibilities including but not limited to account base management, marketplace management and legal liaising.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years relevant experience within Sales/Retail/Business Planning/Strat Planning

  • Expertise in Business Planning & Retail Planning to drive functional capabilities

  • Customer facing experience preferred as this is a key competent of delivering results

  • Strong understanding of retail math, different types and uses of data, distillation of key insights, and (predictive) analytics – including a strong ability to turn this into strategic actions

  • A comprehensive understanding of the full Supply Chain, Product, and Retail lifecycle

  • Proven management & leadership skills - the ability to recruit, develop, and inspire direct reports

  • Strong self-awareness, proven track record of proactively soliciting and leveraging feedback, and capacity to adapt to different team needs

  • Exposure to a range of sales tools and analysis methods, and the desire to continuously evolve these

  • Excellent communication & relationship management skills
