Nike Lead, Partner/Omnichannel Marketing Professional Pacific in Melbourne, Australia

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As the Retail Marketing Lead on a Key Account team, you will be the brand marketing voice of the account internally and the voice of Nike externally. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of our storytelling and experiences delivered to consumers. You will be at the forefront of identifying the shifts happening in our industry, then partnering with functional experts, respective categories, and the account to shape how we define the future of our connection to the consumer. Collaboration, strategic brief development, communication, planning, attention to detail, and creativity will be vital pieces of the job.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Partnering with the account and consumer brand and functional leads, you will craft a strategic vision for the account, driving the development and implementation of content and experiences both digitally and physically for the consumer. You will manage the seasonal planning process/calendar including leading, contributing, and driving the seasonal plan for the account’s key product stories. You will be responsible for briefing product stories into external agencies, to deliver a holistic account marketing plan, in line with brand and business strategies and obsessing the consumer journey, thinking digital first and ensuring there is a seamless on-line to off-line journey. At times you will manage global and regional stakeholders to ensure communication and alignment with global strategic accounts across countries is upheld and harnessed.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

Your role at Nike will be the face of the brand marketing team to one of our largest retail accounts in Pacific. You will work within the Retail Marketing team and report to the Retail Marketing Director. On the daily you will work closely with several key teams - the internal Nike Account team and the external Account team, the Asia Pacific, Latin America (APLA) Retail Marketing team for holistic direction and partnership and at different points within a seasonal journey you will work back with the Pacific Brand Marketing team to gain alignment and partnership on your account plans.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • A university degree in marketing or related field and 4+ years of directly related marketing experience.

  • A digital first mindset and eagerness to continue to push creative and strategic boundaries.

  • Experience leading and driving end to end planning & the ability to masterfully juggle the details and the big picture.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience presenting to leadership teams, both internally and externally

  • Experience in working cross functionally, harnessing a collaborative team environment and being able to lead project work within a large dynamic team.

  • Adapts quickly to move at the pace of consumer and work in a constantly evolving environment, making decisive decisions when needed.

  • An understanding of the performance, culture, and lifestyle of sport
