Specific work experience

Who we are looking for

As the Sr. Director of WD+C Global Supply Chain, you will influence and enable Nike’s global supply chain strategy through location strategy expertise and state-of-the-art service solutions. In close partnership with the Global Operations & Logistics LT, you will define portfolio strategy, lever location insights and standard methodologies to shape the network, co-design the work experience, and secure sponsorship from all relevant partners. With your strategic vision, all-round experience and influencing skills, you will lever the unique capabilities of WD+C and partnerships across Nike to enable the Supply Chain of the future.

What you will work on

With a direct reporting line into the VP WD+C and in alliance with all members of the WD+C LT, this position will be expected to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships across Nike and WD+C globally, regularly contributing with standard methodologies and representing the WD+C capabilities in all relevant fora.

Key job accountabilities

  • Support and influence the Nike Supply Chain network vision through strategic location insights, active portfolio management and workplace thought leadership

  • Develop strong connections with the Global Operations & Logistics LT and establish WD+C as a thought partner and critical enabler of the Supply Chain agenda

  • Establish a deep understanding of the Supply Chain vision, strategy, operating model, as well as challenges and opportunities from a physical ecosystem perspective

  • Represent and inform the WD+C range of capabilities in service of the global supply chain strategy

  • Effect WD+C Functional and Regional teams to prioritize supply chain targets and to integrate insights and findings in their strategies and activations

  • Mobilize support across the WD+C organization as necessary to build energy and traction against key supply chain priorities and initiatives

  • Integrate dispersed initiatives into a cohesive narrative that represents the global WD+C supply chain offense

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key business partners to gain access to relevant information and ensure we are incorporating into our WD+C data and intelligence capabilities

  • Monitor existing metrics and proactively introduce innovation in the organization

  • Feed knowledge from programs and initiatives into global insights

  • Active participation and advocacy in the relevant Nike communities, sharing WD+C contributions and influencing strategic planning
