WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Director of Strategy, Brand and Marketing for Greater China. This role will be responsible for answering the marketing function’s most strategic questions, from long term strategies to drive growth to reviewing our business each quarter. This role will lead a lean team and partner closely across the Marketing leadership team.

This candidate needs to have high level of strategic thinking, ability to communicate clearly both verbally and on deck and an expert in GC consumers.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Strategy Development: Lead and drive the development of 1-year (AOP) and 3-year strategic plan for Nike Marketing. Co-work with Marketing leadership team to ensure objectives are aligned and integrated; Identify relevant measures and drive accountability for on-going performance against the brand, business and strategic objectives. Work with Marketing leaders and key functional stakeholders to drive projects of strategic importance to Nike’s Greater China growth.

  • Business Review Process: Manage major business reporting process milestones and deliverables; Work with cross functional teams to help Marketing VP and Corporate Strategy prepare for global & Greater China monthly and quarterly review.

  • Chief of Staff: Provide support on external presentation & internal reviews Marketing VP leaders; Prepare key materials and coordinate the process and inputs with cross functional teams; Craft communication messages that are aligned to the strategic vision and priorities.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report into Sr. Director of Brand Planning & Operations and will work closely with all marketing functional leaders and Corporate strategy team.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Degree holder with minimum 8-10 years relevant work experience

  • MBA and agency experience preferred

  • Strong strategic thinking & learning agility

  • Strong ability to work in a matrix organization and a diverse background environment to drive changes

  • Open-minded with the ability to simplify complex situations, manage ambiguity and ability to perform under pressure.

  • Excellent communication skills, both in English and Chinese
