Nike Lead, Finance GC in Shanghai, China
Summary: Nike Marketplace Finance team is looking for a finance lead, being a thought partner of wholesale key account. This role will have responsibility of elevated financial analysis and decision support to NIKE marketplace leadership. The role will report to Director, Finance Partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner closely with marketplace leadership to develop strategic joint business plan with key account.
Track key account’s profitability and explore actions to improve mutual profitability
Provide financial data and insights to facilitate account sales in negotiation with key account
Connect with key account’s finance, educate and elevate their financial planning capability to improve account probability
Engineer sustainable marketplace partner’s growth plan, including NSP fleet transform, consumer services elevation through Consumer Direct Partner initiatives, and driving mutual profitability.
Set up CSR/AOP strategic growth plan for key account
G2N resources management
Plan and track key projects profitability with corresponding root cause analysis and action plan
Deliver the results: closely monitor key account’s business performance, and leverage and balance G2N resources (e.g. rebates and returns) to read and react and ensure growth while keeping a healthy marketplace inventory.
Timely track retail KPIs and drive action plan to close gaps if any
Sales rebates program guardrail setting, program assessment, approval, result validation and payment settlement
Return program assessment and approval
Qualification:
Minimum of 8 years directly relevant work experience
Strong analytical and strategic thinking; superior written and verbal communication skills, strong Excel financial modeling and Powerpoint capabilities
Willing to dive deep into details, solve complex problems, and have passion to drive results
Proven ability to work in a highly matrixed, cross-functional working environment and to bring a balanced and pragmatic way to influence and manage results
