Nike Senior Merchant, GC Mens Running & Fitness Apparel in Shanghai, China
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The GC Men's Running & Fitness Apparel team is looking for a Senior Merchant that can translate consumer insights, trends, and historical data to drive profitable and consumer right assortments for GC. This role will partner with geo and global cross functional teams to plan end in mind product line plans and assortments. We are looking for talent that has a strategic mindset, consumer expertise, collaborative attitude, and strong communication skills. Product is king, and we are looking for a candidate that has a love of product and understand what drives athletes and consumers to love our brand.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will build GC-right Mens Fitness apparel assortments and future product line plans with an understanding of the full marketplace needs. This role will also look across Running & Fitness apparel strategy to ensure classifcation excellence. You will participate in seasonal gates with Brand and Planning teams & assortment planning in partnership with MPU merchants. You will work on multi-season product strategies and collaborate within Gender team to create the future of Nike Running & Fitness.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work closely with Global and Geo Merchandising, Geo Express lane, Brand Marketing, and Planning in seasonal gates. We will also work x-functionally within CFOP teams to deliver the vision and goals of Running & Fitness.
WHAT SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree
5 years+ merchandising / buying experience in sportswear/streetwear industry
Knowledge and passion for brand & sport
GC local marketplace & consumer knowledge
Solid English & Chinese language skill to deliver presentation and work
