  • Coordinate with global designated income tax compliance service providers on local engagements

  • Work with Nike HK & TW teams to confirm work scope, approach, timeline, deliverables with global designated income tax compliance service providers

  • Review draft annual income tax returns for technical correctness and disclosure appropriateness

  • Advice, support and sharing of best practices to Nike HK & TW finance teams on tax operation process for the elevation of effectiveness, efficiency and scalability

  • Under broad framework of GC tax management, work with Nike HK & TW finance teams to evaluate, and support on implementation, of latest technologies

  • Provide tax technical support on routine tax compliance / operation activities

  • Support Nike HK & TW finance teams in communicating with tax authorities, and in resolving controversies

  • 6+ years' extensive experience in tax consultancy and tax management – regional exposure to HK / TW is a must; experience within a large multinational, publically-held company required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation law.

  • CPA/CA/CTA preferred

  • Strong HK/TW tax regulatory experience and tax technical knowledge

  • Strong commercial and business acumen, with ability to translate business requirements into tax risks and controls

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Ability to assess tax risks and controls across end to end business and operational processes

  • Experience with identifying and applying complex tax treatment to business arrangements

  • Experience with and ability to work collaboratively with multinational cultures and countries

  • Experience with large scale transformational initiatives, process improvements or shared services capabilities

  • Ability to influence and inform stakeholders on complex technical topics

  • Ability to innovate and navigate through ambiguity

  • Experience with SAP is preferred

  • English and Mandarin language proficiency
