Nike Payroll Specialist in Tokyo, Japan

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or HR

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in handling Japan Payroll. Experience in shared services environment a plus

  • Bilingual (Japanese & English) and highly confident in both oral and written communication

  • Deep understanding and knowledge of payroll and local statutory compliance requirements

  • Understanding of payroll and tax processing for inpats/expats

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a highly experienced, energetic, and service-oriented Payroll professional who can work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic and fast paced environment. We need a team player who is able to work well with the other team members and share the responsibilities of the Payroll team tasks. As a Payroll professional, he/she should have a high degree of accuracy with strong attention to details as well as being able to plan and manage competing priorities and work towards completing tasks on time and with accuracy. Also, the candidate should have experience managing Year-end Tax Adjustment activities.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

On a daily basis you will be compiling data for payroll processing from a wide variety of sources (e.g. time sheets, new hires, terminations, commuting allowance, salary adjustments, tax deposits, etc.) .You would resolve and close any queries from internal stakeholders/employees using the ticketing system within the stipulated period. You will work with the other team members to prioritize the tasks, such as sending payroll inputs to the vendor, reviewing payroll results, providing fund request to the Treasury team, Upload bank files to the banking platform, submission to statutory bodies & tax and all other payroll related activities.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will be part of the Asia Pacific Payroll team and will directly report to the APAC Payroll Manager based in Singapore.
